She's grinning across the counter this morning telling me that she's learned how to spell a lot of words with the letter combination -tion.  "I told my cousin Danny about all of these words I could spell with "shun."  He couldn't believe it.  He said, "Show that to me again.""

Then we're on an enthusiastic discussion of blends that she's learning and wanting websites where she can practice and learn more.  This lady's caught the bug.


She's one of Learn to Read's happy customers at the Jacksonville Public Library.  She loves her tutor.  She's read four books.  I said are you listening to them and following along in the book?  "No, Ma'am.  I'm reading them."
